"I’ve been a regular customer of Kohi Fish and Chips over the past 5 years since I discovered them. Their fish is always fresh and tasty, never too oily, and their chips are delicious. We always phone in our order as they are so popular! But the food always hits the spot and the team are so lovely! Love supporting this local business."

"Firstly - the fish and chips are wrapped in newsprint paper which is a great start. This is a large and a medium snapper fillet crumbed, and they were huge pieces, with a scoop of chips. A great feed of F&C's and well recommend. Perhaps the chips were slightly on the small size of portion. The only negative was that due to very high demand, there was a long delay between order and delivery, so my recommendation on peak nights is to order well before you need it. The photos show the fillets with a can of coke so you can see the size of the fillets."

"I recommend this place ! Best Fish and Chips in Auckland in my opinion. We always get take out and eat on the beach since it’s just next to it. We always take the snapper. We usually take our own sauces and drinks but there is everything available in the store. It’s great cause you can also buy your own fish filet."

"This has to be New Zealand best kept secret for Fish and chips. Fresh snapper cooked either battered, crumbed or grilled direct from the window. The best old school hamburgers delivers simple foods but done incredibly well! Everything is fresh and delicious I asked a local why this place doesn’t have more reviews and they said the don’t want it becoming a go spot in Auckalnd for Fish and chips and the wait time going through the roof"

"Freshest fish I've had in a long time. You can pick your fillets from the front counter and they'll batter/crumb and fry em up for you. Price for fillets are similar to supermarket and had a selection of snapper, tarakihi, John Dory and gurnard. I ordered 2 snapper, chips, scallops and oysters. 1 x crumbled and 1 x battered. Fish was a lil overcooked so dried out a bit but everything else was good."
